Accessibility Statement
Crystal Maids Odenton is working to make this website usable for everyone in the Odenton community. This statement describes the accessibility features we have implemented so far and how to reach us if you encounter a barrier.
Our commitment
We want visitors and prospective customers in Odenton to be able to request cleaning quotes, read service information, and contact us without unnecessary barriers. We continue to review the site and improve accessibility as the website is built out.
Accessibility features we have implemented
The following features are part of the current website:
- Semantic HTML headings and landmarks so pages are navigable with assistive technology.
- Text labels for form fields and descriptive inline error messages, so errors are communicated with text and not by color alone.
- Keyboard-operable navigation, menus, and forms, with visible focus states on interactive controls.
- Responsive layouts designed to work across mobile, tablet, and desktop widths without horizontal page overflow.
- Support for reduced-motion preferences, so non-essential animation can be minimized.
- Descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images and empty alternatives for decorative ones.
- A labeled service-area map with a descriptive title for the embedded map content.
Known limitations and ongoing work
The site is still being completed and has not undergone a formal accessibility audit. Some areas we are continuing to review include:
- The third-party service-area map embed, which depends on the accessibility of an external provider.
- Ongoing testing across a wider range of devices, browsers, and assistive technologies.
- Final review of color contrast and keyboard behavior as new content is added in later modules.
